Jamtraxx Solutions Welcomes 3 Apprentice

July 23rd, 2011 0 Comments

We have opened our doors to graduating students who wish to learn and do their OJTs with Jamtraxx Web Solutions. ACLC Tacloban sent us a letter sending three of their students to our doors applying for apprenticeship. Jamtraxx Web Solutions accepted the offer in order to help these soon IT Ninjas. :D

Just in time as well since Jamtraxx Web Solutions won a government contract for some web application developments. This would be a great time for us to teach these soon to be IT professionals on our web development process.

It’s been a rough month

February 27th, 2011 0 Comments

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. It's really been a cram these past few days with project after project and likewise deadlines after deadlines. The main reason really was I had to finish 2 systems to be presented for ACLC College Tacloban's "ACLC Days" which was on the 21st to the 24th. Luckily though, I had a few projects to show but needed some security checks and all that good stuff.

The event was fun. Though the lack of support from the management was obvious. We had to setup our systems on a Sunday and would have probably been a Monday if I havn't approached the school directress for help because we did not have power cables and network access on our machines. But all-in-all, it was a good show.

Anyway, since I am not able to type in anything usefull, I'll just show some images here.

Jamtraxx Solutions is now a PR 3 Site

January 20th, 2011 0 Comments

Jamtraxx Solutions website I was checking for some information about the website earlier and stumbled upon a tool where it gave me the site traffic(I have awstats abd yeah.. I know). Browsing through the results though, I was shocked to see we are now a PR3 site (insert happy face and fireworks here). I know it's not really hard to do but then again, getting a PR 3 site is awesome on a commercial site.

Of course, I did not really trust the result that much yet. Considering, that the rebuilt site is relatively new. But when I check another tool and said it had PR3 as well, now that's just got to be a fact.

Never the less, I don't understand how it happened as we never really did a lot of link building per-se. In fact, there's only a few that we did apart from the people who have always supported our growth. Maybe by the end of the year, with all hopes, we may be on PR5? or, maybe I am dreaming too much and needs to stop now.

At any rate, we would like to thank all the people who have always been supporting of this start-up. It has been a tough year for us but never the less, the new data center is very much keeping our servers up 24/7 and we never had any downtime since December last year.

We have also sponsored hosting with AMA Computer Learning Center of Tacloban City. We have always believed in teaching others without getting any benefit. Needless to say, I have personally seen some people who maybe very great web developers in the future from that school.

I know this is pretty much a worthless blog post but yeah. I am so happy I just needed to post this. :D

Oh yeah, image below is from another tool saying we are PR3.

Christmas Domain Winners

January 3rd, 2011 0 Comments

Hello,

On the 25th of December, we have launched our Christmas event where we were giving away free domains. We have closed all possible entries yesterday and we have chosen our winners. We are giving away 2 domains this year… or wait, maybe we would do this again sometime.

Winners are Jamie or jamie-lee.org and Ewoishe or ewoishe.com. Please send us an email to support@jamtraxxsolutions.com with the domain you wish registered or renewed. If the domain is not registered with us, we need that domain transfered to us so we can renew it.

We thank everyone for joining this event. Keep an eye on our facebook page for updates and events.

Jamtraxx Solutions Relaunch

December 22nd, 2010 1 Comments

I am sure everyone is wondering why an early launch since it was supposed to be on the 25th. Well, a few reasons. The Data center worked much faster than we originally anticipated. Even I can't wait for the launch and well, we are just opening the site but not really giving out what we are planning for. If you are hosted with us I am sure you would have noticed a few changes on your Cpanel.

Also, we have changed our pricing scheme where you can get as much as 40% discount. We have also changed our website currency to Peso. However, when you do get to the shopping cart, you will see it's in USD. You can simply use the combo-box on the top right of the cart and choose your desired currency.

We have more surprises for everyone, but that has to wait till the 25th.

Happy holidays!

Our site is being coppied

November 20th, 2010 1 Comments

We have been made aware that another website, SOFTECHDIRECT is copying all of our content. We are doing all we can to combat this thieves and put them into court. Jamtraxx Solutions owns the contextual content of this domain and does not permit anyone to copy any of our images and contextual data posted on this website.

We will fully have this website closed soon. We have contacted another hosting company that is hosting their website and hopefully, we can get their website down ASAP. If said company will not comply, Jamtraxx Solutions will be forced to set this in court since SoftechDirect is also located in the Philippines.

Update:

The hosting company hosting their website brought their website down 12 hours after we caught them. We are still deliberating if we will take legal actions against the developers of Softech Systems. We have also sent an email to the owner of the said company but sadly, we have not received any response from their end.

Hi,

Great news everyone! We have finally moved all the files from the old server to a much stable, fast and secure server. We have our website down for the meantime while we redo some portions of it. We have stayed in front of our computers almost the entire holiday. But there’s no better joy than serving out clients. Glad it’s all over.

Happy Hollidays,

Moving to a new server

December 12th, 2009 0 Comments

Hi,

Two weeks ago, there was a report that we were having DNS failures in some areas around the world. There were also issues that adding domains on the account only showed Cpanel. This was caused by the server not having enough space to run the cron jobs to add your domains to the DNS Zones. We have had this issue solved. However, in order to avoid this, we will also do an upgrade and will be moving to a new datacenter. Your files will be safe as we will do a backup of all our server files. Please note that your site will be down from a few minutes up to a whole day depending on the speed the internet will propagate your domains. This is normal and expected.

If you have any concern, please send a support ticket.

Till then,

Jamtraxx Solutions Team
